Wigan Athletic midfielder David Jones is happy with his loan move to Blackburn Rovers.

Jones marked his debut with an injury-time goal in Rovers' 3-2 home defeat to Peterborough.

"I want to come here and make an impact and I'm really looking forward to it," said Jones. "I thought my opportunities would be limited at Wigan for the remainder of the season, and this chance arose."
