Wigan Athletic are locked in talks with Manchester United over loan players.
The Daily Mail says United striker Will Keane remains in Wigan's sights. The England under-21 international is nursing a foot injury and still short of match sharpness but Owen Coyle is considering a loan before the close of the window.
David Moyes is likely to take further advice from medical staff before allowing Keane out. Wigan may instead ask United for either Federico Macheda or Larnell Cole.
