Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Watford striker Marlon King for a fee rising to £4.5 million.
Fulham pulled out of a £5m move amid concerns about the striker's fitness. But Latics chief Steve Bruce is desperate to get cover for main hitman Emile Heskey.
King, 22, quit Watford's Championship title chase in favour of a Premier League relegation scrap. He is cup-tied for today's clash with Chelsea.
He said: "It's all about opportunities. I've got one and want to take it."
