Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez has no doubts over the quality of Manchester City winger David Silva.
The World Cup winner has yet to show the form that prompted Manchester City to pay Valencia £26million for his services in the summer.
But Martinez says: "David Silva, when he understands the Premier League, can become a massive, massive player because he plays between the lines like nobody else. He is just a great footballer with a great brain and he will be a special player. But it will take a while for him to adapt and understand the differences before he can thrive in the Premier League.
"He needs to adapt but he will be a special player and a different player - an Iniesta type player for City.
"He will start to influence his team-mates and that is the big thing for a new player. It is just a case of getting a few games.
"He looked happy against Salzburg and his body language was fantastic."
