Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez says he'll continue using his squad in the Carling Cup.
After victory over Swansea City, the Spaniard has no intention of changing his approach in the competition, even though he feels the fans want a prolonged run to match their march to the 2006 final.
"If you want to progress in any competition you need to be able to use the whole squad," Martinez said.
"We have got six games in 21 days and you cannot rely on 11 players.
"The most pleasing aspect was that we made seven changes and the players that came in looked focused and ready.
"That is how you develop healthy competition in the squad and it was a really demanding game in many respects.
"I felt the fans showed how much they want to carry on competing in this competition.
"We have had the taste at this football club of getting to the final and we will carry on approaching every game in the same manner. We will try to go as far as we can."
