Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez is continuing his pursuit of Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton.

Britton is one confirmed name on Martinez's wanted list.

And the Wigan boss admits he'd love to see his former room-mate at the Liberty Stadium follow him to Wigan.

"In my eyes, Leon has probably been one of the best central midfielders in the Championship over the last two years," Martinez revealed to the Wigan Evening Post.

"Obviously, I know he is out of contract, he has had a few offers and I am sure it is the most important decision of his football career."
