Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is losing patience with Hull City over their bid for Marlon King.
The Premier League newcomers agreed a club record £3million fee for the striker a fortnight ago but much to Wigan boss Bruce's annoyance, the deal has stalled.
After playing King - a £5m buy from Watford in January - for an hour against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, Bruce said: 'It's not happening at the moment, so I'll probably knock the offer on the head.
"It's gone on long enough."
Hull's poor pre-season continued yesterday when they lost 1-0 at Hearts.
