Everton are willing to pay a stunning £50m to sign Watford attacker Richarlison.
The Mirror says Watford fell out with the Merseysiders over their pursuit of the then Vicarage Road boss Marco Silva last November refusing a compensation package believed to be of around £15 million.
Silva was eventually sacked two months later with Watford claiming that a poor run of results since the initial Everton approach - one win in 10 Premier League games – was largely due to Silva being distracted by the Toffees' interest.
They contacted the Premier League and accused Everton of making an illegal approach for the Portuguese – a complaint which has yet to be resolved.
But it's now believed that Everton have agreed to inflate the price for Richarlison to include a payment to smooth over the rift between the clubs over Silva's situation, the 41-year-old taking over the Goodison Park reins at the end of May.
