Chris David has revealed how a chat with Fulham teammate Scott Parker had him prepared for his debut last weekend.
The former FC Twente attacker made his Cottagers debut in the FA Cup against Norwich City.
David recalled: "Captain Scott Parker said to me, 'You have everything to make it. I do not know what can be improved'.
"Those words have lifted me.
"The next two weeks are crucial for me. The club will make their intentions clear to me. I want to play. Fulham know that too. If it cannot be at this club, then anywhere else."
