Arsenal fans can breathe a sigh of relief after the club released an update on Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazilian suffered what was feared to be a serious ankle injury during the warm up before the FA Cup win over Newcastle last weekend.
Mikel Arteta said after the game that the injury did 'not look good', but the Gunners are hopeful the young striker will return to training in the next few days.
"Gabi turned his right ankle during the warm-up against Newcastle United on Saturday and was subsequently taken out of the starting line-up," Arsenal said on their club website.
"Gabi has progressed very well and we're hoping that he will return to full training with the squad in the next few days."
