Aston Villa signings Ashley Westwood and Jordan Bowery featured for the U21s in their 2-2 draw against Southampton.
Westwood and Bowery - who signed last week from Crewe and Chesterfield respectively - showed glimpses of their exciting potential against the South Coast outfit.
Former Crewe captain Westwood was composed in possession and also showed battling qualities to go with his technical ability.
