West Ham United were prepared to sell Sead Haksabanovic last summer.
The Swedish attacker is currently playing on-loan back home with IFK Norrkoping.
However, SportExpressen says Djurgarden were in talks to buy Haksabanovic before his switch to IFK.
Indeed, DIF and West Ham had agreed a fee for the youngster, but the deal fell through at the last minute allowing IFK to step in with their loan proposal.
Haksabanovic is expected to see out the season with IFK before being sold by West Ham this summer.
