West Ham United have been warned they're set to miss out on Maxi Gomez.

The Daily Mail says the Hammers have been told they must agree a deal for Gomez today or the Uruguay striker will join Valencia.

Manuel Pellegrini has been in pursuit of 22-year-old Gomez who has a release clause in his contract of £45million.

Celta Vigo have already agreed a deal with Valencia for £13m with 23-year-old Vigo-born striker Santi Mina moving in the opposite direction.
