West Ham urged to swoop for Tottenham target Batshuayi

Marseille president Vincent Labrune wants Michy Batshuayi to join West Ham United instead of Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports from Buzzsport.fr.

Batshuayi has been a target for Tottenham Hotspur for quite a while now and it is believed that Spurs are ready to splash as much as £30million in order to secure the services of the Belgian international this summer.

West Ham remain in the race to sign Batshuayi and according to reports emerging out of France, surprise claims have been made that Marseille president Labrune wants the 22-year-old to join the Hammers instead of Spurs.

It is believed that Labrune is not happy with Tottenham's latest offer for the attacker and his relationship with West Ham, from last summer's transfer of Dimitri Payet, has the East Londoners in a stronger position than their North London counterparts.
