West Ham to wait on Ayew injury as Bilic reveals Feghouli news

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic says the club will have to wait and see how serious Andre Ayew's injury is before making any plans moving forward.

The Ghanaian winger, who joined the Hammers from Swansea City for a club-record £20.5million this summer, was replaced by Gokhan Tore after just 35 minutes of his Premier League debut for the East London club.

Regarding Ayew's injury, Bilic has to wait for scan results before passing judgement.

"Ayew has a thigh injury," he confirmed.

"He told me it is not a big one, but you never know and he will have a scan on Tuesday and we have to wait for the result of the scan to know how long he will be out."

Regarding another summer arrival, Sofiane Feghouli, Bilic said the Algerian winger was out due to a slight problem sustained in pre-season.

"Feghouli picked up something against Juventus which we didn't think was an injury and he trained for a week, but he missed tonight because he is injured," he added.
