West Ham to complete deals for Ayew, Masuaku

West Ham United are on the verge of completing a double swoop for Andre Ayew and Arthur Masuaku, according to reports from the Press Association Sport.

West Ham are looking to challenge for a top four finish this season as they enter a new era at the London Stadium and the Hammers have brought a number of quality players to the club this summer.

To further strengthen their playing group, West Ham are now on the verge of completing a combined £21million swoop for Swansea City forward Ayew and Olympiakos left-back Masuaku.

Manager Slaven Bilic spoke regarding the prospective transfers and all but confirmed that the move for the duo is close to completion.

"We are quite close to getting two new players," said Bilic after West Ham's 3-2 friendly defeat by Juventus on Sunday.

"I hoped it would be yesterday and they would play a part today but the paperwork was not done.

"It's only a matter of paperwork and then we will have two new players at West Ham."
