West Ham targeting Reims striker Dia as Haller replacement

West Ham United are interested in signing Reims striker Boulaye Dia in the January transfer window.

The Hammers want a replacement for Sebastien Haller, who departed for Ajax this month for roughly half of what the club paid for him in 2019.

Haller only managed 10 goals in 48 games for the club, and West Ham fans will be hoping his replacement is more prolific.

According to Sky Sports News, Dia is highly rated by Hammers scouts and is wanted by manager David Moyes.

The 24-year-old has 12 goals in 17 Ligue 1 games this term, and would cost roughly £10 million.

Moyes had recently admitted West Ham sold Haller unexpectedly, as they got a higher offer than they had been anticipating would arrive.
