West Ham United are chasing Besiktas striker Demba Ba.
The Daily Star Sunday says the former Newcastle and Chelsea striker has been a sensation in Turkey with Besiktas, scoring 10 goals in 14 games.
Sources claim talks have already began over a £8million January transfer.
Ba joined Hammers in 2011 after a move to Stoke collapsed following medical reports, but when they were relegated he invoked a contract clause and joined Newcastle.
During his three club spell in England he scored 50 goals.
