West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic will miss the Christmas programme due to injury.

In victory over Cardiff, the Austrian forward limped off just before half-time in the 3-1 win at the London Stadium, with Lucas Perez replacing him.

Arnautovic has now revealed the extent of his injury, which looks set to rule him out for much of the festive period.

"Thank you so much for all your messages," wrote Arnautovic. "I will be out for a while.

"But I will do everything to come back strong and quick."
