West Ham have been stunned by Andriy Yarmolenko's injury diagnosis.

The Mirror reports Yarmolenko is out for up to six months with a ruptured Achilles tendon.

The Ukraine international winger went down clutching his ankle during Saturday's defeat by Tottenham with nobody around him.

Yarmolenko, 28, will have an operation this week but the club have resigned themselves to losing him for a lengthy spell.

A source said: “We get no luck. It's s terrible blow for the club."
