West Ham striker Divin Mubamba is confident manager David Moyes will give him a chance if he continues to impress with the U21s.
Mubamba has already made his first team debut this season.
“I'm finding my form," Mubama enthused to whufc.com. “I've been finding the net and that's improving my confidence.
“I think confidence is the best thing in football; it can get you so far. I just want to continue to keep finding the back of the net [whether in the Academy or the first team].
“Obviously, I'm still young and you just try to learn every single day. The gaffer [David Moyes] has seen a lot of kids come through and go all the way to the top. I trust the gaffer and obviously, there's 100 per cent stuff that I need to work on."
It is a mature mindset for a player so young then. Rather than looking forward, his goalscoring boots are firmly set on the ground.
“To be fair, literally, anything can happen," he states, "I just want to see what the future brings by being in the present moment."
