West Ham striker Javier Hernandez agrees Valencia terms

West Ham are fighting to keep hold of Javier Hernandez this month.

The Mirror says Hernandez has agreed personal terms with Valencia - but he is unlikely to seal an escape from West Ham this month.

The Mexico international joined the Hammers in July 2017 for £16million from Bayer Leverkusen.

But the former Manchester United striker is believed to want a move having struggled to settle in east London, with a return of just 14 goals in 55 appearances.

Hernandez is thought to be keen to revive his career in LaLiga, where he spent a spell on loan at Real Madrid five years ago.
