West Ham step up chase for QPR midfielder Eze

West Ham United are continuing to pursue a move for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze.

The creative midfielder was one of the standout players in the Championship this season.

The no.10 is wanted by several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.

But the Guardian claims West Ham have the biggest interest in the player, and David Moyes wants him signed quickly.

The Hammers want young players from lower divisions, such as Jarrod Bowen, and believe Eze would continue Moyes' revamp of the squad.

But the competition for his signature may force them to pay over the odds to sign the QPR star.
