West Ham United skipper Kevin Nolan says Andy Carroll has well and truly silenced his critics.
Nolan admits the barbs fired at the Geordie were getting on his nerves.
He said: "People looked in from the outside and gave him a lot of stick and I hope they are starting to eat their words now, because he is starting to show what he is about.
"You get the keyboard warriors having a pop at him and it all escalated. But they don't know what he is about. Now everyone is talking about the right things about him."
