West Ham United signing Alou Diarra is delighted with his return to England.

Diarra joined the Hammers from Lyon.

"I first signed for Liverpool more than ten years ago when I was young," he confirmed to whufc.com. "I was 19-years-old and now I am 31.

"Now I have more experience. To play in England has always been a dream for me. I think the English game will suit my qualities. I am very happy to have signed for West Ham."
