West Ham United are seeking a buyer for Jack Wilshere.
The Times says West Ham are desperate to get midfielder Wilshere off their books this summer and trim his £100,000 per-week wages from the club's bill.
The Hammers thought they could get a second wind from the player when he signed from Arsenal in July 2018, though injury problems have persisted and hindered Wilshere's progress as a result.
Now the club are actively looking to buy out what remains of his contract or subsidise a move to another club.
Since joining West Ham Wilshere has started just six games, and now the Hammers want to cut their losses as the player enters his final year.
