West Ham seeking auction for Rice

West Ham United's hope of sparking a bidding war for captain Declan Rice is coming to fruition.

The Hammers were afraid of having to only deal with one club in the summer, with British media reports previously saying that Rice only wanted to sign for Arsenal.

However, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and even Manchester City have come into the frame.

Per The Mail, West Ham now believe they can spark a bidding war and get a very high price for Rice's signature.

The Hammers believe that negotiations should begin at £100 million and not a penny less.

Arsenal are said to have put in a £90 million bid, which was deemed insufficient.
