West Ham United want to set up a loan deal for Arsenal striker Maraoune Chamakh.
The Daily Mail says he is surplus to requirements at Arsenal and, although there has been interest from Fiorentina, the player wants to stay in England.
The 28-year-old came on as a substitute in Tuesday's Capital One Cup defeat at Bradford and missed a penalty in the shootout.
