West Ham United are attempting to sign Blackburn Rovers firebrand El Hadji Diouf on a free transfer.
The Daily Mail says Diouf, 30, would be brought in for nothing with Blackburn having agreed to let him go.
The Senegal ace is on the outer at Ewood Park after his clash with QPR players earlier this month.
Rovers boss Steve Kean is now ready to cut Diouf loose.
