West Ham United have confirmed the release of Razvan Rat just six months after joining the club.
The Romanian defender arrived at Upton Park from Shakhtar Donetsk this past summer but has departed east London after 15 Premier League appearances which included 11 starts.
Rat and West Ham have agreed to mutually terminate the left-backs contract which was due to expire in June.
