West Ham United have rejected a bid for Enner Valencia from Mexican outfit Tigres, according to Sky Sports.
However, the Hammers are still keen to offload the Ecuadorian and are hopeful a deal can be agreed upon.
The 27-year old is familiar with Mexican football, having moved to West Ham from Pachuca for £12.5 in 2014.
Unfortunately, Valencia's quality performance at the Brazil World Cup did not continue with the east London club.
In 66 appearances for the Irons, Valencia bagged just 10 goals.
Last season, Slaven Bilic deemed him surplus to requirements and he was subsequently shipped out on loan to Everton.
Valencia then proved surroundings weren't the problem after scoring only 3 goals in 23 appearances for the Toffees last season.
