West Ham recall keeper Anang from Derby

West Ham United have announced that Joseph Anang has returned from his loan spell with EFL League One side Derby County.

The goalkeeper has terminated his loan spell, with the two clubs coming to a mutual agreement.

Derby County assistant head coach Richie Barker has since stated the club will look to sign another keeper.

Per Derbyshire Live, Barker said: "Yes, possibly. From his point of view, he had a really unfortunate injury when he first came in.

"Obviously the success of Joe (Wildsmith) over the last two or three months has meant his chances have been really limited. He wants to play and from what I can gather he is going back to be a part of West Ham's squad.

"We will probably see him next week (in the FA Cup). He's a really good lad. He did great, but circumstances have led to limited chances. We will be having a chat with Andy and finding out what he wants to do with his section (goalkeeping)."
