West Ham are ready to move for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton-Diaz.
The Daily Express says West Ham manager David Moyes has put Blackburn's 20-goal hitman Brereton-Diaz at the top of his January shopping list. Moyes wants to provide back-up for top goalscorer Michail Antonio in his attack and has singled out Chile international Brereton-Diaz as the man he wants.
Moyes is looking to build on last season's sixth-placed finish and cement a place in the top four this term and is looking for a centre-back and striker as his priorities before the window shuts.
Brereton-Diaz, who qualifies for Chile through his mother, has notched 20 goals from 26 league games in England's second-tier this season.
Moyes though faces a massive hurdle in recruiting Brereton-Diaz, with Rovers unwilling at the moment to sell their prize asset.
Rovers rate Diaz's value at around £25million, and that price has already put off potential buyers in Leeds and Spanish side Sevilla.
