PSG defender Thilo Kehrer is a key target for West Ham United.

Manager David Moyes is extremely eager to add a top defender in the coming weeks.

Craig Dawson, Angelo Ogbonna and summer signing Nayef Aguerd all missed their opening Premier League game of the season, a loss to Manchester City.

Moyes also confirmed that Issa Diop refused to play, as he is pondering his future.

According to the Evening Standard, the Hammers will put in a bid to PSG for Kehrer, and hope to secure the transfer in the coming days.

They will be without Aguerd for at least ten weeks, while they hope other defenders will be fit sooner.
