West Ham propose loan deal for Juventus striker Higuain

West Ham have emerged as contenders to sign Gonzalo Higuain.

The 31-year-old wants to remain at Juventus after returning from unsuccessful loan spells at AC Milan and Chelsea.

Despite his connection with new manager Maurizio Sarri, Juve have reportedly left Higuain out of their plans for the upcoming season.

The Argentine has already rejected a move to Roma in order to stay in Turin.

GianlucaDiMarzio.comsays the Hammers are hoping to sign Higuain on loan after missing out on Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.

West Ham have already lost strikers Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez this summer.
