West Ham prepared to offload Jelavic to Guangzhou Evergrande

West Ham United are set to sell Nikica Jelavic to the Chinese Super League.

According to the London Evening Standard, the Hammers are looking to free up space on their list in order to bring a new striker to Upton Park.

It is believed that Croatia international Jelavic is the most likely to be offloaded despite scoring his first goal for the club in the weekend's FA Cup win over Wolves.

CSL club Guangzhou Evergrande are showing interest in the former Rangers and Hull City forward who could be let go by Slaven Bilic who continues to be linked with Juventus striker Simone Zaza.

The Standard also suggests that Mauro Zarate could leave West Ham with Spanish side Malaga keen on the Argentine.
