West Ham ponder move for Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Aleksandr Maksimenko

Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Aleksandr Maksimenko remains on the radar of West Ham United.

Metaratings reports the Hammers are looking for a promising goalkeeper who is ready to fight for a place in their senior starting XI.

The Hammers have three veterans, Lukasz Fabianski (35), Darren Randolph (33) and David Martin (35), on the books.

It is suggested that the priority for West Ham are players from the Italian championship, but the club is also paying attention to the Eastern European market.

Along with Maksimenko, West Ham are also keen on Spartak teammate Alex Kral.

Russia international Maksimenko, 22, is rated in the €10-15m class by Spartak.
