West Ham United players will miss out on a bonus should they qualify for the Europa League this season.
David Moyes' side are riding high in fifth position, which would secure a Europa League place at the end of the season.
Captain Mark Noble negotiated the players' collective bonus pot with the West Ham board last summer, says the Daily Mail.
But as the club had not finished higher than 10th in the last four years, a payment for obtaining European football was not secured.
West Ham's bonus pool this season is understood to be largely based on where the club finish in the League rather than rewarding European qualification.
There are also major penalty clauses that apply in the event of relegation.
