West Ham United are not giving up on a deal for Maxi Gomez.
The Celta Vigo striker seemed all but certain to join Valencia, following a collapse in negotiations with the Hammers.
The two clubs could not agree on a payment plan for Gomez's £45m release clause.
However, Sky Sportssays West Ham are keen to resurrect the deal.
The Uruguayan is the club's absolute top target this summer after losing forwards Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez.
