West Ham midfielder Rice: There's no limit on what we can do

Declan Rice insists there are no limits for West Ham United.

The Hammers fought for a 1-0 win over Watford on Tuesday, taking them above Manchester United into fourth-place.

"The objective tonight was always to get the three points," Rice said. "The level of performance was not at our usual standard, but we got the three points.

"You're never going to be perfect throughout the season. There's going to be games where you need to grind through and get wins. The main thing is we won and we're still pushing for that top four spot.

"I thought Watford were brilliant in the way they set up. They obviously watched us and set up with two banks of four. They made it very difficult for us.

"We'll take it one game at a time. We're on 40 points now – I think last year we got to Europe on 64 or 65. There's no limit for us. We've got big games coming up – let's see where it takes us.

"It's the best place to play football here when the fans are up and buzzing. We know ourselves when the performances are below par, but the main thing is we got the three points."
