West Ham midfielder Jesse Lingard says they face Manchester City full of confidence.

West Ham will need to be at their very best when they step onto the pitch to face Premier League leaders Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.

Pep Guardiola's men go into the game on a 19-match winning run in all competitions, but the Hammers have won seven of nine Premier League matches themselves, and Lingard hopes David Moyes' side can rise to the challenge.

“We're a team that likes to go forward and play on the front foot," he confirmed.

“We like to press as well, so we can kind of bring that energy when we're pressing and force the opponents into making mistakes."
