West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini was delighted with his goal in their 3-3 draw with Tottenham.
The Hammers trailed 3-0 with just eight minutes of the game to play, but never folded and gained their reward with their thrilling comeback.
Lanzini's strike was the icing on the cake and, reflecting on the goal, he cast his mind back to a similar strike from a fellow midfielder which also yielded a point at Spurs back in 2018.
"Do you remember when we played Tottenham and Pedro Obiang scored a goal like a rocket?," he smiled. "It was similar to that one and it was fantastic because we were 3-0 behind and we turned it around.
"It was perfect. I've wanted this for a long time. I am ready now, I am 100%. I want to help the team and this was the moment.
"I love the fans, I love the Club, I've spent a lot of years here and it's like my second home.
"We have a big squad, I am waiting for my opportunity and it was a fantastic goal."
Lanzini added: "It's always good to score goals, and always good to score against Tottenham. Scoring against big teams is fantastic for me.
"We know Man City, who we face next week, is a very big team, a good team. We need to keep going like this and I think if we play like this we have an opportunity to get something from that game too."
