West Ham midfielder Jarrod Bowen pleased with his preseason form

West Ham United midfielder Jarrod Bowen says there's much more to come from him.

Bowen has scored four goals in three preseason appearances - two at EFL Championship new boys Wycombe Wanderers, followed by two in the Betway Cup defeat by AFC Bournemouth at London Stadium on Saturday - and is now eager to show that goalscoring prowess on the biggest stage.

“It's getting that confidence of hitting the back of the net again," said the Hammers' new No20, who scored at a prolific rate for former club Hull City, but netted just once for West Ham following his January switch to east London.

“I got four in pre-season, and I'll go into the games full of confidence and I know where the back of the net it.

“It's important to get the minutes and. personally for me, to score goals as well, which is what I want to bring to the team going into the new season."
