West Ham midfielder Havard Nordtveit has hinted he could return to Germany.
He returned to England after five years at Borussia Monchengladbach on a free transfer last summer, joining Slaven Bilic's side on a free transfer.
Nordtveit was expected to be a regular in West Ham's midfield, where he would add physicality and tackling ability, but largely struggled to establish himself on Bilic's team-sheet.
"It was not like I had envisioned it to be," Nordtveit told Dagbladet of his first season at the London Stadium.
“For now I let the speculation lie. I still have four years left on my contract with West Ham.
“Yes I had success in Germany… I will never reject a return to the Bundesliga."
