West Ham midfielder Feghouli vows to improve next season

West Ham midfielder Sofiane Feghouli has vowed to show an improved form for the Hammers next season.

The Algeria international arrived at the London club from Valencia last summer, on a free transfer, with a good reputation from his six-year stint at the Mestalla. However, the 27-year-old could only score three goals in 20 appearances for Slaven Bilic's side.

"First of all, the Premier League is a very different style of football to what I have experienced in La Liga, the Champions League and World Cups," Feghouli told West Ham's official website.

"Unfortunately, I was affected by some physical problems earlier in the season but that's football and I'll take what I've learned this year to improve for next season.

"I'd like to thank all of the West Ham supporters for the messages they've been sending me on social media."
