West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison was delighted with his goalscoring performance in their Capital One Cup win over Burnley.
The Wales international scored a crucial late penalty to seal the Hammers' place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
"It was nice to get a bit of game time and to be in the hat for the next round." Collison told whufc.com. "If you've been through what I've been through injury-wise then you appreciate any time on the pitch. It's a bonus to get the result and a bonus to pop up with a goal.
"I enjoy trying to get on the ball, drive us forward and to try and make things happen. Thankfully I managed to do that on Tuesday. I won the penalty and probably should have done better with a couple of other chances."
