West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen has sung the praises of former Hull City teammates Harry Maguire and Andrew Robertson.

Bowen played with Robertson and Manchester United defender Maguire at Hull before joining the Hammers in January.

“The things they've gone on to do is unbelievable," Bowen told the Hull Daily Mail.

“Big H has got to a World Cup semi-final, Robbo has won the Champions League. It's unreal.

“I just want to try and follow in their footsteps a little bit like that.

“Me and Robbo used to train together all the time. Me and Harry used to sit on the bench together a lot because he wasn't playing much for the first six months of the Premier League season.

“It was only when Marco Silva came in during the second half of the season that he played week in and week out before his move.

“You could tell they were good at the time and they're still only young as well."
