West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini does not want to risk the fitness of Jack Wilshere.
The English midfielder is coming back from injury, but has suffered a slight setback.
He is not going to play against Newcastle United at the weekend, which was the original plan. The 27-year-old has a groin problem.
"Jack has a small problem, he is not 100 per cent fit," said Pellegrini to reporters.
"For him it is a risk to come back before he has completely recovered."
