West Ham United have made an offer for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

Kessie's future at Milan is in doubt with Chinese Super League clubs eager to tempt him to the Far East.

And TMW says the Hammers have also been in contact, making a cash bid of €35m for the midfielder last week.

However, Milan rejected the offer, insisting West Ham must go higher to get them to the table. Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the situation.

Milan have Kessie on-loan from Atalanta, but also boast a rock solid permanent option to the tune of €20m.
