West Ham United have made their intentions clear ahead of their summer move to the Olympic Stadium.
The Hammers have reportedly lodged a formal £31.5million offer for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi as they strive to lure a quality goalscorer to East London to go hand-in-hand with the shift from Upton Park.
West Ham have been heavily linked with 22-year-old Batshuayi for the past few months but according to The Guardian, have now made their move with a bid that would easily beat their club record transfer fee.
The Belgium international has scored 16 Ligue 1 goals for a struggling Marseille this season which has attracted the interest of Slaven Bilic's side.
However, the Hammers face competition from Italian champions Juventus and Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham for the former Standard Liege youngster.
